The historic Balaklava Courthouse, originally built in 1913, was transformed into an Art Gallery and Gift Shop when it was gifted to the community. Since its opening in 1991, the Gallery has become a cherished venue, regularly showcasing exhibitions by South Australian artists and craftspeople. The exhibition space is open to all artists, providing an inclusive platform for creative expression. Managed by a dedicated committee and supported by volunteers, the Gallery also offers its space for hire, making it an ideal setting for meetings and small events.
